There are weeks where work doesn’t just take your hours — it consumes them. ( ̄_ ̄|||)
You wake up already tired. You commute with a half-finished thought about a ticket. You sit down, open the IDE, and twelve hours later you realize you never left the same three Jira columns. Dinner is optional. Side projects are theoretical. The blog draft titled “maybe this weekend” is still titled “maybe this weekend.”
That’s been me, lately.
The Consume Loop (x_x#)
I’m not dramatic enough to call it a crisis. I’m just honest enough to call it what it is: consumption.
The day job eats the morning. Meetings eat the afternoon. Context-switching eats the evening. What’s left for Biagio Cyberspace, for open source, for the little ritual of writing a diary entry with kaomoji and beveled borders? Sometimes nothing. Sometimes a sticky note that says “write something real” and then gets buried under another sprint.

Status: degraded — still online
I apologized for the silence already. This post isn’t another apology. It’s a status report from inside the fire.
We Are Still Standing (ง’̀-’́)ง
Here’s the part that matters:
We are still standing.
The site is still up. The guestbook still collects messages. HomuraJS, Moon-Inferno, Yumia-MD, KawaiJS, and even quiet little frutiger-js are still out there in the wild. I’m still opening this Astro project when I can. I’m still the same webmaster who believes a hand-crafted corner of the web is worth defending — even when the only energy left is “publish one honest paragraph and go to sleep.”
Burnout wants you to believe that if you can’t do everything, you should do nothing. I’m rejecting that compile error. (★`・ω・)ゞ
Small commits count. Short posts count. Showing up late counts. Still standing counts.
A Note to Anyone Else in the Same Sprint ( ゚,_ゝ`)
If work is eating you right now — if your hobbies feel like luxuries and your brain feels like a browser with 87 tabs — you’re not failing. You’re overloaded. There’s a difference.
Protect one tiny ritual. One walk. One game on a handheld. One blog paragraph. One star on someone else’s repo that made you smile. Whatever keeps the process from being killed entirely.
I’m not “thriving.” I’m not “crushing it.” I’m standing. Sometimes that’s the whole victory condition.
End of Status Log (◡‿◡✿)
Biagio Cyberspace stays online. I stay online. The work stress can take a lot — it does not get the domain, the diary, or the stubborn little belief that this independent web still matters.
We are still standing.
Until the next reboot — hopefully with more free RAM.
